You should tell your weight loss doctor about other medications you are taking, so he can be aware of drug interactions when prescribing new ones. I’m not aware of any interactions between common pain medications and Phentermine, but I’m not a doctor or pharmacist.
If you have hypothyroidism, why doesn’t the doctor simply give you thyroid hormone?
Phentermine is an amphetamine-like appetite suppressant. It’s addictive, and should only be used short term in conjunction with diet and exercise. It’s really only for people who are at high medical risk because of their obesity, and for whom the risks of obesity outweigh the risks of the medication.
