The constipation definitely is. Tramadol is a opioid painkiller, and unfortunately, all of these have constipation as a side-effect. Try taking Colace or something similar.
I don’t think your period being irregular could be directly linked to the tramadol, though. I’ve taken it before and it was never a problem for me, except once, and I hadn’t been eating well because of the medication. You might want to take a look at your diet, because that can cause irregular or missed periods.
